We want to save the River Colne (Hillingdon Friends of the Earth)

Sunday, June 23 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Guided walk, Starting from the Coy Carp, Copper Mill Lock Harefield UB9 6HZ

Come and join us for a short fact-finding tour along the canal towpath, north from Copper Mill Lock, to find out what is happening to the beautiful River Colne, why it is dying and what can be done to solve this water crises.
Experts and available information will be on hand. We are also inviting election candidates because this is an issue that needs political will and positive, urgent, action.
Sewage-filled waters are sadly a reality. Friends of the Earth are campaigning for a new law that could help hold polluters to account.

Please feel free to circulate via your networks.

This is an opportunity to walk and talk. Please note, Hillingdon Friends of the Earth is a pressure group but is explicitly non party political, and planning this walk started before the general election was called. It is open to local candidates of any party as well as anybody concerned about the health of the river Colne.
