Repair and Reuse Day

To coincide with this year’s Repair Week (Monday 14 to 20 March)
we are holding a free event,
Join us in The Great Barn to learn tips and tricks from council teams and local groups.
Dr Bike
Get a free basic bike repair. We will check your bike, give you advice, make minor adjustments and fit some basic replacement parts if we have them.
Roadshow team
Our recycling team will be on hand to answer any recycling questions you may have and provide information on how to recycle in the borough.
Hillingdon Friends of the Earth and The Restart Project
Bring along 1 or 2 small electrical items to be repaired on site, or receive information on parts needed to make your electrical item work again
Traid
Our textiles partner, TRAID, will be holding small workshops on how to repair textiles to extend their life, including sewing buttons back onto clothes, repairing holes, patching and alterations.
TRAID will also be collecting textiles and small electricals on the day for anyone wanting to recycle these items.
There’s no need to book; just come along on the day.
