Colne Valley Regional Park Festival
The Festival Fortnight, runs for two weeks with different type of events running through the Regional Park, giving the local community opportunity to explore many of their local gems and connect with their countryside. This year we are partnering up with volunteer groups, local authorities, organisation and charities in the Colne Valley Park, with different types of events, and to highlight all the amazing things the regional park has to offer; Guided Walks, Talks, Activities for Children and Families, Open Days, Exhibitions and more.

Guided bat walk

Join Ruislip Woods Trust for a guided evening walk around the Lido in Ruislip Woods and hopefully see some bats.
Location: MEET INSIDE THE WOODLAND CENTRE BY THE BEACH AT RUISLIP LIDO
Please bring a torch.
If you have a bat detector, please bring it with you.
Aiming to start at 9:00pm the walk should finish around 10:30pm.Weather permitting: The walk will not take place if it has rained within 2 hours of the start as the bats will not come out.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
(SOUTHILL LANE, EASTCOTE) ORDER 2024
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
1. Hillingdon Council gives notice that to enable main renewal works to be carried out by Affinity
Water and to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public it made this Order, which will
temporarily close Southill Lane, Eastcote from the junction of High Road to the junction of
Joel Street.
2. Diversion route will be in place via High Road, Joel Street and vice versa.
Nothing in the Order shall apply to prevent vehicular access to premises on or adjacent to the
prohibited length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with
the said works.
3. The temporary restriction will be in operation between 08:00hrs on the 2nd August 2024 to
17:00hrs, on the 6th August 2024 and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed
by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. Road users should assume
that the closure has been put into effect only if traffic signs have been erected stating that the
road has been closed and the diversion route, if necessary is in place.
4. The Order, which is proposed will come into operation on 2nd August 2024, will continue in force for eighteen months or until work to which it relates is completed. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 3 Days.
