RUISLIP, NORTHWOOD AND EASTCOTE LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY
Monday, December 16, 2019 @ 8:15 pm - 10:00 pm
The ancient parish of Ruislip (which included Northwood and Eastcote) was first documented in the Domesday Book. The Society exists to encourage interest in the history and conservation of this area and the study of local history generally. We hold meetings with illustrated talks on varied topics of local and wider interest, usually on the third Monday of each month from September to April. During the summer months we organise walks and visits exploring history in and around London.
On 16th December we will be holding our Christmas Meeting where members will be presenting the results of their research into our local history carried out during the past year.
Cost: Members free, visitors £2
